Line of Evidence mark: a wavy line resolving into a straight line ending in a dot

Line of Evidence

We don't take sides. We test narratives against the data.

We take what people say about the markets, starting with NFL and college football, and check it against public data. Every claim gets a verdict. Every verdict cites its sources.

How it works

Collect

We gather widely shared, testable claims from X posts and mainstream coverage. Claims, not people.

Test

We check each claim against primary public data: results, published lines, injury reports and official stats.

Publish

We publish a verdict with a confidence level, the evidence, every source and the time the data was pulled.

The four verdicts

Supported

The best available public data is consistent with the claim as stated.

Contradicted

The best available public data shows the claim, as stated, is false.

Mixed

Part of the claim holds and part doesn't, or it holds only under one reasonable definition or data source.

Insufficient evidence

Public data can't settle the claim either way, or the claim isn't testable as stated.
