About Line of Evidence

Line of Evidence is a market-narrative research project. We test what people say about the markets against the data, starting with NFL and college football.

What we do

Every week we take widely shared claims (streaks, records, "sharp money," line moves, injury effects) and check them against public data. Each one gets a verdict: Supported, Contradicted, Mixed or Insufficient evidence. We don't take sides, and we grade claims, not people.

What we don't do

• No picks, no paid tips, no "locks," no betting recommendations.
• No sportsbook or prediction-market affiliate deals. We don't earn anything when anyone places a bet.

AI-assisted research disclosure

We use AI tools for research and drafting: finding candidate claims, gathering and summarizing sources, and preparing first drafts. A human reviews and approves everything published on this site and on our X account. AI output is never published on its own authority, and every number links to a source.
